Founded by Tama Ward in 2021, Curated Living + Co grew from a deep love of vintage treasures and the timeless art of needlepoint. Tama’s signature style blends old and new, pairing classic vintage charm with a modern style to create warm, welcoming, and curated spaces.

Our philosophy is simple: beautiful, thoughtfully made and chosen pieces—old and new—invite us to slow down and enrich our everyday life. We believe in surrounding ourselves with objects that serve a purpose and spark joy, echoing William Morris’s reminder: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” It’s a way of living with intention, where usefulness and beauty belong together.

Over the past year, we’ve thoughtfully grown alongside our Auburn/Opelika community, expanding deeper into the world of needlepoint while staying rooted in our love for vintage, heritage goods, and meaningful connection. Needlepoint has truly become the heart of what we do, with a growing collection of curated canvases, kits, and essentials for both beginners and seasoned stitchers. We’re excited to now call The Camellia Room home. The Camellia Room is a creative gathering space in Auburn designed to bring people together through art, hobbies, and community. The Camellia Room is a place where creativity comes to life through needlepoint classes, workshops, events, and collaborations with other local creatives.
